The Abrasion Tester Elcometer 1720 has been designed to test the abrasion, washability, brush ability, and resistance of a wide range of materials including paint, lacquers, inks, coatings, leather, wood, plastics, printed material, fabrics etc. The Abrasion tester Elcometer 1720 Wash ability and Abrasion tester is available with either 2 or 4 stations, each station is separated by a water-tight gasket frame, allowing up to 4 dry or wet tests at any one time. Available in 2 versions: 2 station – undertakes 2 tests at a time 4 station – tests up to four samples with 4 different tests The stroke length can be adjusted by the user to meet specific requirements, from 10 to 300mm (0.4 to 11.8″) Digital display allows easy, accurate speed variation and simple reporting Stroke speed can be varied between 10 and 65 cycles/min or set to 37 cycles/min to meet ISO standards Available with or without liquid doses, allowing test liquids to be regulated automatically or independently The rapid tool change system allows the user to test the samples by a wide range of National and International Standards on both flat and curved surfaces simultaneously.
