A helmet cover is a nice friend to have: it protects the helmet from life's little mishaps, improves concealment and enables quick adaptation to the colour scheme of the environment. Modern helmet covers (like this) also have ready-made loops and Velcro for compartmentalizing cables, attaching patches and attaching additional camouflage. Features: Total of six loop Velcro slots on the surface for patches, IFF systems and other niceties. The slots are made by laser cutting, meaning the edges are round and the slits sit flat when not in use, but are also available for routing cables and attaching camouflage materials. The loop Velcro slots are quite polygonal, but here are the some dimensions: forehead patches (2 pcs) 5 x 4.5 cm, side patches (2 pcs) 10 x 4.5 cm, "mohawk" 20 x 4.5 cm and width at the bottom of the back 11 cm , at its widest point 15 cm, at the highest point 11 cm. The height of the branches is 8 cm.Paracord loops for camouflage materials and cables on both sides of the mohawk. As per current fashion, a lawn yard system extending over the cover can be made with Inka IRR-protected elastic cord. Adjusting it is quicker if you also get 2M Cord Lock or two for it!Attaches to helmets with velcro: includes 10 self adhesive counterparts to be attached to the helmet. In addition to the fastening flaps, there are strips of hook Velcro on the sides that attach to the loop Velcro strips on the sides of a helmet (to where a flag is often slapped). If your helmet doesn't have Velcro on the sides, it seems that the cover is attached quite firmly even with just the fastening flaps. In addition to PGD's own ARCH and MICH helmets, it would seem that these can be used pretty well with FAST series helmets, but we have only tested on copies. With copies the size L is little bit narrow for copies and size XL goes over a little. The cover covers parts above the side rails, i.e. in MICH-type helmets, the part of the helmet above the ears is not covered with fabric. The cover covers parts above the side rails, i.e. in MICH-type helmets, the part of the helmet above the ears is not covered with fabric. If you want a plumper and more irregular (that is, somewhat more shape breaking and camouflaging) end result, taking an XL-sized cover for an L-sized helmet might be smart.Made in the EU from NyCo ripstop fabric. All materials are IRR/NIR compatible. Weight in L size 30 g and in XL size 35 g.Warranty two years. Protection Group Danmark PGD, Protection Group Danmark, Protection Group Denmark.
