It’s been a long time coming – the M05 Tradesoft is proud to present the fruits of co-operation with Templar’s Gear: tactical combat gear with the Finnish M05 camouflage! The aim of this co-operation is to fill a torso-sized hole in the Finnish gear market: before this, it was not possible to have a full combat gear set available with the domestic M05 pattern. We had contemplated on acquiring M05 combat gear before, but had not found a suitable manufacturer before Templar’s Gear. The actual idea of this project was born in the fall of 2017 when the first Templar’s Gear products landed at our headquarters. After finding a suitable friend and partner in Poland, it was obvious that we had to present this gift to the airsoft/reserve forces/military/defence forces/SRA shooting communities and everyone interested in the Finnish camouflage pattern. Cummerbund Model Slim The Slim Cummerbund, familiar from Templar's TPC (Templar's Plate Carrier) vest, is a comfortable, suitably sturdy and, above all, low-profile alternative to your plate carrier. It is a good choice especially if your purpose is to keep the sides mostly empty, for example due to pistol draw or to fit through small gaps. Thanks to the stiffened structure, you don't have to worry about loading it with weight either! Features: PALS/MOLLE matrix for attaching pouches. In all sizes, the height is 2 rows, with half-a-row above and below. The width is 6 columns in size S, 7 columns in size M, 8 in size L and 9 in size XL.Pouches can be attached inside and outside. The top and bottom half-a-rows are only available for one side at a time.Internal stiffener that prevents the cummerbund bendind and provides a sturdy base for loads.The openings in the PALS loops extend through the entire structure, which helps to control the heat load. Made from 500 denier Foxdura (Baucent laminate) and milspec stretch fabric.Small weighs 145 g, Medium 155 g, Large 165 g and X-Large 175 g. Compatibilities: The cummerbund fits directly to virtually all vests, where the cummerbund fastens on the front and back with Velcro. The ROC buckled vests usually requires a front panel as a companion if you want to have pockets in the front. In addition, in a vest with ROC buckles, you may want to take the buckles so they don't press you. You can find ROC buckles that can be removed and installed more quickly here, if you don't want to sew them back on and off. If necessary, a handy guy can put Velcro-adapters on any vest. Sizing: The sizes are indicative, because thanks to the construction, the size of the cummerbund can be comprehensively adjusted by attaching it to a slightly different place. In addition, there is an elastic band in the back that adapts to the user's movements. However a sizing system does exist: here are the distances between the attachment points (ie, in practice, the maximum length of the cummerbund between the plate bags, ignoring the elasticity, so that the Velcro is attached all the way). Small 31 cmMedium 35 cm Large 39 cmX-Large 43 cm When choosing a size, you should therefore take into account that the combined circumference of the vest/plate carrier and cummerbund should be slightly smaller than the circumference of the body, so that the vfit is properly tight. In practice, the cummerbund can be adjusted smaller than the stated dimensions as much as there is Velcro on the back, and how much you are ready sacrifice PALS loops in the front. In practice, it can be stated that jumping up in size increases the maximum circumference of the combination by 8 cm. Materials & manufacturing The Templar’s Gear M05 products are manufactured from the Finnish Foxa 500 denier Foxdura fabric by using laser cut technology, which enabled us to reduce the weight of the gear without compromising reliability. The material meets the Finnish Defence Forces' requirements for IRR protection and the other materials are also IRR treated. This means that the products can be safely used even in situations where you need to be hidden in the IR spectrum! The laser cut PALS webbings are also extremely durable, because they don’t have stitches which are prone to wear and tear. Special attention has been paid to quality control in Templar’s pouches and gear, because a significant portion of the company’s customers are officials, whose safety and well-being might depend on the gear. Conscription in Finnish military Well, since someone’s going to ask anyway, let’s answer: we do not know if this gear can be used when you are in general conscription. If you want to be polite, you can ask your officer, if it’s okay to use your own gear. However, it’s usually easier to apologize later than to get permission. If necessary, we recommend you demonstrate the features of the gear, for example in the IR spectrum, where you can clearly prove that this gear has been made for military use and is not some Chinese knock-off. If you as a user have any ideas for product development, we are happy to share them with Templar's Gear. Extended three-year warranty Templar’s Gear products are granted a three-year warranty. In more concrete manner this means for example products sold on this spring will have warranty for three action packed seasons of airsoft, shooting or whatever you do with them. Warranty covers all problems that should arise from defective materials or poor craftsmanship. Carelessness or misuse voids the warranty.
