Attaching the cover under a front panel or cummerbund is done with the same method.We have not had the chance to test the set with ballistic plates from other manufacturers, but the dimensions of the ballistic part are as follows: width at top 29 cm and bottom 12 cm, height 28 cm, edges rounded.
