Paracord is a cord designed by the USA during World War II, and it is used in parachutes, in tying stuff to vehicles and, basically in all jobs requiring tying and attaching. The cord is, even with modern standards, light, durable and inexpensive which makes it suitable for camping, like as a tent cord or to be carried with you on the field in case of emergencies. The cord consists of a 7 fibers’ nylon inner part and the nylon web protecting it, and because of that, the cord withstands friction well, too.
