The Montool training plates have been manufactured of 5 mm (3 kg) and 10 mm (5 kg) thick steel plates and they offer the weight of a ballistic plate with a fraction of their price. Plates are multicurved, meaning that they are shaped to conform users body. This offers better comfort and also helps to keep user profile smaller when lying prone. These plates can take even the hardest training, and you don’t have to worry about ruining expensive plates when crawling through mud or training. Note, however, that the plates won’t protect against any ballistic projectiles. In effect these provide protection only for poor cardio. The product includes padding for each training plate.
