Vest Pack - Baby Got Back Templar's Gear Vest Pack is a backpack panel that attaches to the back of a plate carrier (or any vest, really). This is awfully handy for a hydration carriers, but one can fit here just about anything (with the bladder)! Moreover, with a separate adapter, this is extremely easy to swing forward, which makes it easy to go through the contents yourself. Do you have to change the radio frequency on the fly? Easypeasy! Hangry and munchies are on your back? Easypeasy! Caught in the rain and the rain cloak is in the pack? Easypeasy! The corners of the Vest Pack have D rings to which the parts of the separate adapter attach. By opening the buckles, the entire pack can be swung forward over the head, or by opening one shoulder buckle, the pack comes forward by either side. With the adapters, the Vest Pack can also be attached to, for example, a bergen, from where it can be transferred to the back of the vest as a daypack. In addition, the Vest Pack has PALS loops, so it fits any PALS matrix with at least six horizontal and five vertical loops. Even with less, it will stick. In principle, there is no need to have loops in the middle, as long as there are enough loops on both sides! Also available is the little brother Vest Pack H1 if this feels too big. Features: Attaches directly with the PALS/MOLLE loops to any vest, or for example to a zippered back panel, so the removal is quick! If you use straps or the Vest Pack adapter, you can detach the PALS loops. The space requirement is 6 x 5 PALS loops. The center can be clean. The most astute of you will notice from the measurements that this extends above and beyond past the PALS matrix. Straps are made of 1000D Cordura and can be removed: light, durable and can be fixed in the field! However, the real magic tool is the much acclaimed Vest Pack adapter, which attaches the pack to the vest with buckles. By opening the side buckles, the entire system can be swung over the head to the front, allowing the content to be accessed without pleading for support from your battlebuddy. You can also open one of the shoulder buckles and swing it to the front by the side if you're wearing a helmet or something. The adapters are attached to the D rings in the corners, to which the straps can also be attached. (If the M05 patterned adapter is out of stock, we might have some Ranger Green adapters in stock.) Stiffened back - reduces ballooning and sagging in general A spacious mouth with inlets for tubes and cables on both sides. Third inlet is in the middle at the top. A simple hydration bladder pocket inside the main compartment with a hanging loop. The long Source (WXP 3L) fits nicely, just fold the closure bar inward. The three-liter WLPS bladder is a little tight on the sides. Inside the main compartment there is also an organization pocket with a zipper closure, depth is about 14 cm and width 22 cm. Strong elastic cord on the sides for tidying the contents and/or overpacking. The adjustment is done with cord locks. On the top are two zippered pockets with access from the side: both sized approx. 16 x 37 cm, mouth approx. 29 cm. 4 x 6.5 PALS matrix on top. Thanks to the laser cutting, the "middle rows" can be used too. Also on top there is a 16 x 6 cm loop velcro matrix. 500D Foxdura as the main material. Buckles are of high quality and made by Woojin from Korea. Do we really have to say from which Korea? Weighs 370 g. It is very little, considering how sturdy this good boy is. The (outer) dimensions are approximately 23 × 38 × 6.5 cm. The plumpness factor is greatly influenced by the packaging style and the packaged item(s). With street mathematics the estimated volume is just about 5.5 liters. Especially with smaller plate carriers, this will extend over/under the back plate bag, but this has been taken into account in the placement of the D-rings, so it is easy to use. Too big? 'ere ya go! Materials & manufacturing The Templar’s Gear M05 products are manufactured from the Finnish Foxa 500 denier Foxdura fabric by using laser cut technology, which enabled us to reduce the weight of the gear without compromising reliability. The material meets the Finnish Defence Forces' requirements for IRR protection and the other materials are also IRR treated. This means that the products can be safely used even in situations where you need to be hidden in the IR spectrum! The laser cut PALS webbings are also extremely durable, because they don’t have stitches which are prone to wear and tear. Special attention has been paid to quality control in Templar’s pouches and gear, because a significant portion of the company’s customers are officials, whose safety and well-being might depend on the gear. Conscription in Finnish military Well, since someone’s going to ask anyway, let’s answer: we do not know if this gear can be used when you are in general conscription. If you want to be polite, you can ask your officer, if it’s okay to use your own gear. However, it’s usually easier to apologize later than to get permission. If necessary, we recommend you demonstrate the features of the gear, for example in the IR spectrum, where you can clearly prove that this gear has been made for military use and is not some Chinese knock-off. Cooperation - Yhteistyö - Współpraca Templar's Gear products are delivered to us straight from the factory in Poland. This means that our product selection is updated to the latest and greatest generation almost in real time as replenishments are ordered. Thanks to the close cooperation and our frequent orders, we also have a chance to forward feedback and new ideas to the respective designers. If you as a user have any ideas for product development, we are happy to share them with Templar's Gear. Extended three-year warranty Templar’s Gear products are granted a three-year warranty. In more concrete manner this means for example products sold on this spring will have warranty for three action packed seasons of airsoft, shooting or whatever you do with them. Warranty covers all problems that should arise from defective materials or poor craftsmanship. Carelessness or misuse voids the warranty. It’s been a long time coming – the M05 Tradesoft is proud to present the fruits of co-operation with Templar’s Gear: tactical combat gear with the Finnish M05 camouflage! The aim of this co-operation is to fill a torso-sized hole in the Finnish gear market: before this, it was not possible to have a full combat gear set available with the domestic M05 pattern. We had contemplated on acquiring M05 combat gear before, but had not found a suitable manufacturer before Templar’s Gear. The actual idea of this project was born in the fall of 2017 when the first Templar’s Gear products landed at our headquarters. After finding a suitable friend and partner in Poland, it was obvious that we had to present this gift to the airsoft/reserve forces/military/defence forces/SRA shooting communities and everyone interested in the Finnish camouflage pattern.
